How does personalization work?

On the product page, enter your child's name exactly as you want it cut — spelling, accents and capitals included — and pick a font number from the chart shown in the product photos. Before production, you can ask for a free digital 3D preview of the name in your font, sent for your approval.

How long before my order ships?

Every piece is made to order. Production takes 3 to 5 business days, then shipping time is added. Shipping is free across Canada; for the United States, it is calculated at checkout.

Will I pay customs fees on a US order?

Possibly — but we do everything we can so it doesn't happen. Every meriza piece is made in Canada from Canadian wood, and we prepare US shipments to claim duty-free entry under the Canada–US trade agreement (CUSMA/USMCA) whenever it applies. US customs has the final word, so if a duty or carrier fee is ever charged, it is the buyer's responsibility — but keeping that from happening is part of our job.

Can I return a personalized item?

Because each piece is personalized and made to order, returns and exchanges are not accepted. But if your order arrives damaged, has a defect, or we made a mistake, contact us and we will make it right. Cancellations with a full refund are possible any time before production begins.

Is the night light safe for a child's room?

Yes. The LED is low-voltage, stays cool to the touch, and is dimmable. The wood is finished with a food-safe, non-toxic oil. As with any corded object, keep the cord out of reach of infants.
