Every meriza piece begins as a single solid piece of hardwood in a small workshop in Quebec, Canada — no assembly line. Today that means personalized night lights and wall signs; tomorrow, whatever the wood suggests next.
Cut, engraved, finished by hand. Each shape is precision-cut on a CNC, its fine details laser-engraved, then sanded smooth and protected with a food-safe oil that lets the grain show through. Soft felt inserts are inlaid flush into the wood for a quiet touch of color.
The light itself spells the name. On our night lights, your child's name is cut right through the wood and backlit by a low-voltage, dimmable LED. Brighter for the bedtime story, softer for the night — and it never heats up.
Made to be kept. These are not disposable decorations. Solid wood and a finish that can be refreshed: a meriza piece is made to watch over childhood and then be handed down.
Every piece is made to order, one at a time, after you approve the design. Want to see the name in your chosen font before we cut? Ask for the free 3D preview when you order.
